【Brief career history】
- 1947 Born in Shirakidani, Nankoku-shi, Kochi prefecture.
- Active during the 1960s as the youngest member of the Zenei Tosaha (Avant-Gaede Tosa School), an avant-garde artits' group based in Kochi prefecture.
- 1965 Work accepted for the first time in the eighth annual Shinsho Sakka Kyokai (New Image Artists' Association) Exhibition, Prize for Excellent Work and Holbein Prize, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
- Honorable mention in the 19th Kochi exhibition foreign film. Honorable mention in 20 times, 25 times, 28 times, 41 times, 44 times, 45 times, 48 times, 50 times of Kochi exhibition foreign film afterward.
- 1967 "Sixth Zenei Tosaha Southern Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition," Kochi Public Hall.
